Meeting Monday Night

Hello Cubs! We will be having a regular pack meeting October 21 at Pinnacle church.
All WEBLOS 1 and 2 need to be there to participate in the Outdoors man activity.

November 4 will be our 1'st meeting at our new location. Clyde First Baptist Church

Meeting October 7

Hello pack! We will be having our 1'st meeting tomorrow night at Pinnacle Church @ 6:30.
As you have heard we are moving our charter to a new location. We have 3 options available to us. This will be discussed tomorrow night and hopefully we will make a decision.

Summer Events

1.       Any Cub Scout and parent/family interested in visiting and spending the night on the Yorktown Aircraft Carrier in Charleston, SC on September 14^th and 15^th, 2013 needs to contact Wanda Burgess by July 8^th, 2013.  The cost per person is $72 and checks need to be made payable to Boy Scout Troop 326. (Each family is responsible to provide their own transportation and meals to and from Charleston, SC.) Wanda can be reached at 828-246-2699 or e-mail wandapburgess@gmail.com and can answer any questions or provide additional information about the trip.

2.       Cub Scouts are invited to visit our Boy Scouts in the afternoon and evening up at summer camp on Wednesday, July 17^th.  Our Boy Scouts will be at Camp Daniel Boone located here in Haywood County.  To hang out and see the camp with the Boy Scouts is free, but if you want to join them for dinner it will cost you $5 per person payable to the camp.

3.       While not a Cub Scout sanctioned camping trip, the Hicks’ family would love to invite any family interested in camping with them to join them in Brevard, NC on August 9^th, 10^th, and 11^th. They will be staying at the Black Forest Family Camping Resort (www.blackforestcampground.com) 828-884-2267. If interested, please contact the campground to make a reservation for your family. (They play to visit the waterfalls in DuPont State Forest on Saturday the 10^th during the day.)

4.       We look forward to seeing all Cub Scouts at our next scheduled meeting on September 9^th at 6:30pm.

Swimming

We have had a scheduling conflict with our swimming day that was scheduled for March 18. We have rescheduled it for April 22 at the Haywood County Med West fitness center.
We hope to see you Monday night for a regular den meeting night.

Pinewood Derby This Monday!

Its down to the wire now! Our annual pinewood derby is this Monday night! I hope you have your cars race ready by now.
If you would like to bring your favorite snack food or drink, we'll all celebrate together!

Pinewood Derby

Our annual pinewood derby is coming up Feb 25. If you need a car or supplies to finish your car you can purchase them at the Scout Shop in Asheville or Michael's Craft store in Waynesville. Lowe's was about sold out the last time I checked with them.
Get you cars finished and we will see you on the 25 for our big race!
